1. Walter finds out that his son from across the ocean is coming to visit. The problem is Walter has an interview at the same time at a different airport, so he asks Amanda if she can pick the kid up for him. Amanda reluctantly agrees considering she will have to miss out on a party/meeting/whatever. Walter arrives at the job interview only to find he is one of hundreds in line. Meanwhile, Amanda is waiting at the baggage claim for Walter’s son to show up. When asked who she is waiting for, airport security detains her and carries her away. Still standing in line, Walter gets a call from an exasperated Amanda. She tells Walter that his son is on a terror watch list and she has been detained for questioning. Walter reluctantly leaves the line for the interview as he is only about five people away from the door. Walter arrives at the airport office and is allowed to enter to find Amanda handcuffed sitting in a chair; glaring with up at him with contempt. Walter comes to find that he knows almost everyone in the office, as the majority of them seem to have transferred from the airport Walter used to work at. Walter is told his son has allegedly trained for the last six years in a terrorist camp in North Africa. Everything is worked out with the exception that Amanda is now on a no fly list that takes months to be fixed as no one there has authorization to remove her. Walter and Amanda head back home defeated, Amanda’s complaining voice muffled as Walter thinks about his terrorist child.
2. Amanda and Walter are driving. Amanda is whistling and Walter has an annoyed look on his face. Walter asks Amanda how she can be so happy about going to the Unemployment Office and Amanda keeps whistling. They enter the office to see a long line of dramatically different looking people, from suits and ties to garbage bags and booties. As the numbers tick down, different people sit down and begin to converse with Walter and Amanda. While Amanda is quite amiable and approached by friendly looking people, Walter is approached by nut cases. As their numbers are finally called they each head off to see their work source agents. Amanda instantly hits it off with her agent and everything seems to go seamlessly. Walter on the other hand can’t seem to say anything right. Walter is eventually finished after being told he might want to look into the bus industry and walks out to find Amanda waiting. Back in the car Amanda asks Walter what took so long and he explains the ordeal he just went through. She laughs it off informing him that she is going out tonight for drinks with her agent. This pisses off Walter even further who just sits and smolders as Amanda continues to whistle. Walter turns on news radio to blare out the sound of Amanda’s whistling who is obviously very entertained by Walters childlike attitude.
3. The episode starts off with Amanda on her laptop with Walter sitting next to her watching the news. Walter asks her how she can spend so much time on the computer when there are things to do such as dirty dishes or piles of laundry. She explains her time is better spent on Facebook keeping in touch with people she can no longer see. Amanda offers to create Walter a profile but he declines saying he has better things to do. Later that night, Amanda goes out for some fun leaving her computer on the couch next to Walter. Walter glances over at computer repeatedly looking at the “Create Account” button. After a while he picks up the computer proclaiming “What’s the worst that could happen?” Amanda unlocks the door to the apartment, clearly looking hungover from the night before. She enters the apartment to see Walter sitting on the couch still on the laptop, a pizza box sitting next to him. Walter looks up with droopy eyes. Asking how her night went, Amanda gestures at her appearance with a smirk. Amanda asks Walter when he woke up and he explains that he hasn’t gone to sleep. He offers her some pizza he ordered at four in the morning and she gladly takes a slice. Walking into her room she tells him she’ll see him when she wakes up. Walter grunts in acknowledgement, still absorbed by the computer. Amanda wakes up yawning at the sound of her phone. She see’s it is now 6:30 at night. She answers it, climbing out of bed. She looks at her disheveled self in the mirror and yawns again. She tells whoever is on the phone that she will meet up in about an hour. Amanda hops in the shower, gets cleaned up and done up and walks out her room. Walter is still sitting on the couch looking at the computer. Amanda doesn’t think about it as she tells Walter that she will see him later walking out the door. Walter doesn’t respond. Amanda comes home the next morning looking rougher then the day before and finds Walter hasn’t moved since she left. Walter doesn’t even notice that she has come inside. Amanda walks over to Walter and slams the laptop shut. Walter jolts in shock and looks up at Amanda in surprise. Heavy bags under blood shot eyes, Walter stares at Amanda in a dreamlike state. Asking her what day it is, he is amazed to find it’s been three days since he’s slept and two since he’s eaten. He explains to her that after a while everything started to fade together. He learned to speak some spanish and made tons of friends. He built his own farm from the ground up, and he is happy to proclaim that he is now followed by 47 people on Twitter. Amanda picks up the computer and places it on the coffee table. She walks into the kitchen and asks Walter if he wants something for lunch, only to find that Walter has passed out. Amanda grabs an apple, rinses it off in the sink and begins to eat it as she walks into her room, shutting the door behind her.
Ok so here are my three, let me know what you think.
1.) Walter walks in on Amanda screaming at a male over the phone. He overhears her saying that she was willing to give up everything for him and he won’t help her in her time of need. Walter attempts to console Amanda only to have her insult him with regards to his own marriage. Amanda is stuck in the house for the evening because she has no money to go out and they spend the evening arguing over what to watch while making insults about the shows the other person prefers comparing it to their respective personalities. During the argument the viewers find out the real reason Amanda had no choice but to allow a stranger to live in her home.
2.) Amanda is lonely and attempts to make a move on Walter only to have him reject her. Walter doesn’t reveal how difficult it was to turn her down due to the fact he is still in love with his wife and is desperately trying to get his family back. Amanda seeks employment only to find the years she spent traveling has set her back with education and other skills she could have been building. With her latest behavior her family has decided to stop assisting her financially until she gets it together and utilizes more of her potential.
3.) Walter and Amanda wake up to find an eviction notice on the door stating they have 30 days to pay the difference the airline no longer pays. With both Walter and Amanda still out of work they try to brainstorm about possible things to do to pay the bills. Ultimately Amanda gets a job with a company overseas as a flight attendant on a British airline and Walter gets a job as a flight instructor in his home town. When all is said and done they realize how much they have grown together and find saying goodbye to be bitter sweet.

I realize now that all three of these ideas are either not realistic in terms of shootability or they don't fit the characters we have developed.
