Amanda is going to a strong, witty, intelligent, independent woman - not over-the-top.
The dialogue between Walter and Amanda will be clever, not jokey.
So for any of you with fears that she's becoming too broad, too out-of-control, or a "desperate housewife" type, that will not be the case.

after our discussion and with clarifying the character with everyone I'm very happy about this character. I would like to have the challenge as a white male to write a woman of color character.
ReplyDeleteSince I wasn't there last night I just want to be sure- Amanda does not still get Botox right?
ReplyDeleteNo Botox, Christina.
ReplyDeleteI see her as a woman that has great natural beauty and she doesn't waste time worrying about it. And she's a gorgeous black woman! Anyone else? I've mentioned this several times with no other response. I think.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you, David! I'm definitely up for the challenge and I think that would add some amazing elements to her character.
